The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) working under the guidance of Technopark Technology Business Incubation Cell (TTBI) was initiated with a vision to promote Entrepreneurship among the students. IEDC provides the students with the right resources for making their initial business start-up a success. PRS College of Engineering & Technology decided to set up IEDC Boot Camp in 2015-16 . In the year 2016-17, we decided to expand our IEDC activities to a new level. KSUM provided financial aid for the development of our IEDC Boot Camp. Under IEDC we set up Robotics & IOT Club for attracting more students to innovations. We now have well equipped Robotics & IOT Lab at our college for students to practically realize their new ideas. Members of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell are up-to-date on emerging technologies . Project design competition(IDEATHON) was held under IEDC for students to showcase their innovative ideas and get financial aid for implementation. Faculties of Robotics & IOT Club are trained under e-yantra project by IIT Bombay. Our Faculty team secured CLASS B awards in Task Based Training(TBT) on robotics which was conducted by e-yantra ,IIT Bombay. Our Robotics & IOT Club secured Merit Awards for the successful implementation of “Plant Growth Monitoring Robot” and listed among the top 4 colleges all over India.
